International Students Scholarships Candidates who hold, or are in the final stages of getting MD, Ph.D., or equivalent degree and began looking for postdoctoral training in basic biomedical research are eligible to apply for scholarships.
-The Asia Foundation is accepting applications from candidates who do not have more than one year of postdoctoral research experience at the time of the deadline for submitting applications (July 14), and who has received his PhD (or D. Phil or equivalent.) There is no more than a degree two years before the deadline, or MD degree no more than three years before the deadline.
-Fellowships may be granted to U.S. citizens planning to work in laboratories in both the United States, Canada, and abroad and also for foreign citizens to study in the laboratory in the U.S. only
